Assessment will happen all term. Your blog will be a goal setting and reflective tool as well as a means of feedback on projects which will be kept up to date each week.
The 4Cs page will enable each student to record evidence of task you complete or attempt, to help develop these skills. At the end of the term you will be able to reflect on you own evidence as to how you have improved in each of these areas. |
A really important part of PBL is assessment.
Sure, we are still teaching english and maths, but there are some things we think are just as necessary for you to learn and succeed. These are called the 4Cs. As a way of measuring the changes you experience in these areas over the course of your PBL journey, we would like you to embed the following surveys into your website and complete them. |
Your blog will be hard work and a lot of commitment on your part, but at the end of this journey, we hope that you see the value in writing every day and how much feedforward and reflection has changed the end product that you present to everyone.
Think of blogging like a diary that grows and changes every day. Reflect on the good times, talk about the bad times. It's all part of learning! |
