Hey PBL students, just one thing... DON'T DREAM SMALL ok?
As we begin our introduction to the big question that will drive your projects this week, we want you to realise that each and every teacher at Moreland Primary School wants your project to be successful. But what is a successful project? We don't expect you to fly in blindly, not knowing exactly what to do. Together, let's explore what other young people in the world are doing and how their ability to dream big is something we all have inside of us.
Students all around the world are coming up with amazing inventions, creations and solutions to problems every day. Age is no barrier, only time and opportunities, both of which you have up your sleeve. Your job today is to work with in a group of three to create a video biography of a young achiever to share with other people.
We ask that you refer to the presentation rubric while researching and creating your biographical movie. We will be looking for the following details:
Clear beginning and ending
Information moves from one idea to the next in logical order
Voice over is clearly spoken at a good pace
Voice demonstrates a command of the english language
Uses well produced visual aids
All team members participate for the same amount of time
Bibliography of websites and images used
What you need to know to write a fascinating biography
